This alignment template is used each time you replace the stapling head on your RAPID 101 or 106 staplers. It fits into the stapling head temporarily to align the head and anvil correctly. Poor alignment between the head and the anvil, located immediately below, can mean a poor crimp, or none at all on one leg of the staple or the other.
This is a small but critical tool that would have been provided with your RAPID machine when purchased. Due to its diminutive size it is often lost! We recommend making a paper pocket on the side of your machine to hold this tool and keep it handy for head change-outs.
